Mike Delaney

Hello, my name is Michael Delaney and I am currently living in Toronto, ON. I have recently graduated from Fanshawe College’s Theatre Arts- Performance program. I am actively seeking representation now and was hoping to be considered by you. Allow me to give you a brief overview of my background.

Being a new actor in the world at the age of 27 acting is different in my eyes. Taking inspiration from my idols; Jacob Hoggard, Misha Collins and Ian Somerhalder, acting is my chance to fulfil a dream and pass on the inspiration I have felt to someone else.

My experience thus far is from being in school, but I have gained experience in some film work and on stage being cast as leads in stage productions of both Ten November and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

I come across as young, energetic, edgy and humorous as well as intelligent and unique. I am a mixture of Jensen Ackles, Ian Somerhalder and a dash of Ty Olsson. I have the character and personality to do dramatic or comedic television but also skills that could easily transfer over to film. Some roles I could be right for include; the tragic hero, the mysterious badass, rebellious male, MMA fighter, strong older brother, the love interest, biker, tough guy, and any sort of villain. I have a few tattoos that when showing can give me quite a harder character edge but they are easy to cover so that I can transition to more conservative and reserved characters easily. This gives me a huge range of characters I can play well. But I would love to hear what you think.
