Omer Genc

It was in 1995 when I mentioned my intension of being a film director, an acclaimed director told me that a director must have the fundamental knowledge of all the related components of film making such as acting, script writing, editing and scoring. I took his advice and spend years as actor, musician and script writer. After working as the 1st AD for couple of TV series, nowadays I am working on the script of a historical docudrama which I am going to direct. However, I have to admit that the part that I enjoy in film making process is script writing -to create that unique world to be realized and presented to the audience.
