Tiffany Yarde

Tiffany Yarde attended Bryn Mawr College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. In 2005, Tiffany was awarded the M. Carey Thomas Award for Distinction in Writing for her thesis and accompanying play exploring slavery from the perspective of freed slaves. After college, Tiffany followed the path of many graduates, obtaining several jobs that had absolutely nothing to do with the degree for which she accumulated student loan debt. Having been raised in a NYC Housing Development by Caribbean immigrants and managing to graduate from both boarding school as well as college, Tiffany decided to spend most of her professional career helping other at-risk youth achieve their academic goals. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of education in both non-for profit and the for-profit markets providing classroom support, developing academic programs in both Pennsylvania and New York City, and most recently having been a Master Teacher for a preschool program. In 2015, Tiffany was a semifinalist in the Insider Television Writing Contest for her TV Pilot “Anonymous.” In 2018, she was selected by the London Screenwriters’ Festival to participate in a Writers’ Room for the longest running medical drama series in the world, “Casualty.” In 2019, Tiffany was selected to participate in the Talent Campus by the London Screenwriters' Festival. In her free time, Tiffany loves exploring the hardest questions of human existence, like how to flip a pancake without breaking it.
