I did the New York City thing for 10 years after college. I acted in film and theatre (see how I spelled it? legit.), did the tech side of both (gotta be well-rounded, right), started a sketch comedy group, dove into writing, and in my later years there, was a represented voiceover artist. New York is a place that makes you ask hard questions of yourself, and so i discovered a few things: Though I love acting onstage, I don't particularly enjoy acting in film. Though I'll watch the hell outta some TV and film, I'm kinda 'meh' about WATCHING live theatre. And, in general, as passionate as I am about the stage, I love writing more. So THAT realization let to some life adjustments, and long story short, now I live in Chicago, work as a content developer, do voicoevers as a side-hustle, and write, write, write. I currently have a TV pilot, feature film, and original graphic novel in the works, and more stories queued up. I'm here at Stage 32 for the express purpose of getting my work in front of the right people.
