Rafael Thomaseto is a 25 years old Brazilian filmmaker and communication specialist. After graduating from his formal education in Social Commutation at ESPM, classified as best advertising school in Brazil, and succeeding his professional experiences towards consumer behavior, marketing strategies and branding, Rafael decided to pursue his underlying passion of working in the film industry.
Two years ago, he moved to Los Angeles and enrolled in an One Year Conservatory at the New York Film Academy, focusing on improving his skills and knowledge about the business. He debuted as writer and director with Momentary, a short film which premiered at Short Film Corner section at Cannes Film Festival at May 2016. But in the past year, Rafael devoted his career as a freelance producer, getting involved with a variety of projects including short films for Crypt TV, his first indie feature film, as well as commercials for well known brands such as Nissan, Tequila Jose Cuervo and Clearasil, along with Lady Gaga’s new music video and coordinating the media production for Style Fashion Week LA.
