A hot headed detective is pulled into the dangerous occult world of the Freemasons when he is unwittingly inducted into the Order of Templar Knights.

SYNOPSIS:

Freemasons. Known to all. Understood by few. A network of underground secret societies that span the globe, yet are shrouded in mystery like no other. The Masons legacy of occult power is legendary, and instills wonder and fear to this very day. And for good reason. Unbeknownst to the world, Masons are the gatekeepers of sacred knowledge and power on earth; as they have been for generations. Holy objects, cursed artifacts, immortal beings and mystical tomes are but a few in the lexicon of ancient power the Masons are entrusted with; of which they refer to as the Sacred Mantles. Some are dark, some divine, but all of them are deadly in the wrong hands. Led by a Council of Master Masons, the Masonic Brotherhood is divided into 6 Orders - each Order is sworn to protect a portion of this sacred knowledge and power. If knowledge is power, the Masons are power incarnate.

Unfortunately power corrupts. And even divinity has a dark side.

After centuries of devotion and taking orders taking from the Council of Masters, a group of Masons revolted. They turned their back on the brotherhood and banded together to form a new Order - the Illuminati. Their goal - to harness the collective power of the Sacred Mantles and use them to subjugate mankind and bring about a New World Order… Decades later in present day Rome, a lexicon of Sacred Mantles is stolen from the Vatican vaults, igniting a chain reaction of fateful events that threaten the course of human history. With the future of mankind on the line, the Council of Master Masons must invoke the Orders. In response, each Order calls forth their ‘chosen one’ - a knight selected to defend the Brotherhood and protect the world from the malevolent forces of the Illuminati.

Enter protagonist Chris Cooper, a 30 something rookie detective whose hot headed arrogance and sarcastic wit is constantly getting him into trouble - while his boyish charm and silver tongue is constantly getting him out of it. Of course it’s all just armor covering up a painful past filled with the death of his sister and the abandonment of his father leaving Chris an emotionally void, lone wolf whose only real relationship in life is with Jack Daniels.

But after nearly 20 years, fate comes calling when his MIA father sends him a strange note and an even stranger object. Little does Chris realize that the object is actually one of the most powerful weapons on earth – and that he’s just been inducted into the sacred Order of Templar Knights.

Chris’s care-free, bachelor lifestyle is suddenly turned upside down as the supernatural occult world of the Freemasons becomes inexplicably entangled with his personal and professional life. Unable to avoid his newfound masonic duties no matter how hard he tries, Chris is forced to work alongside an odd trio of masonic counterparts:
