After working with a Texas based production company for several years, I stepped away from film in 2005 to be a father.
However, what took me away is what brought me back. In 2009, my daughter became a missing child and I lost everything I ever accumulated in my life, home, car, my life. While she was missing, it was a dear friend who would encourage me to take up writing once more. It was writing screenplays again that would allow me to keep me focused until her recovery a year later.
After her recovery, I decided to step away from film and be a daddy. I went back to school with every intention to gaining my degree in law. However, the same friend encouraged me to get back into film. He was correct, I was missing it.
As of January 1st of 2015, I stepped in as a producer and began to run this studio. We produced our first commercial for an apparel company out of Florida without owning a single piece of equipment, had models and a sports car and it was successful. We went on to produce a feature film and a series of promotions to help other local entertainment businesses. Now, we have been chosen to run our first film festival for Central Texas College's annual "GeekFest" as well a series of future events to come! Not bad for less than a year out.
I work VERY hard to make things happen. I am not in this for money, or fame. I am in this to create and discover new talents, as well as push my own boundaries of what I am capable of as a producer!
We started the year with nothing and ended up with more than I had before I lost my daughter and life- and this time with a crew I love and are ALL working towards our goals together!
