I am a writer, director, producer, occasional actor, and an advocate of the oxford comma.
I have experience working on popular talk shows for CBS in the office & on-set, magazine & sports news shows & sporting events/games for Fox from the broadcasting end, and theatre projects for the stage (as well as filming others' staged works) at Upright Citizen's Brigade, Hollywood Fringe, and beyond.
Currently, I work freelance as an associate director for Fox's cable sports channels, where I often do my job in Spanish. I also work as a multi-camera director for college sports & events, my favorite being basketball.
Sit-coms, sketch, and late night comedy are the original drivers of my ambitions.
I've completed the sketch writing program at UCB, and taken sketch writing at IO West, and well as Directing at The Second City, Hollywood.
I also work with my colleagues to make our narrative ideas into sizzle/trailers both in Los Angeles and in Australia to forward our goals for longer works (both TV and film), helping to write, direct, produce, and sometimes act.
In addition to these skills, I also have experience as a PA, camera operator, playback, and audio.
I'm originally from North Carolina, and I'm lucky in that I have been able to travel to many places from a young age, including Costa Rica, Ecuador, Cambodia, Tanzania, and much of Europe; I feel that both of these things greatly inform my approach to both my work and people.
I'd love to get my hands dirty in more comedy, whether as a director, writer, producer, or assisting someone in any of these! Would also love the chance to shadow or work under another multi-cam director, especially in a studio or on set.
Always down to answer questions for anyone interested in any of the types of shows I've worked on, help out with a Hollywood resume, or grab coffee!
Love and equality for all.
