D.S. Martin

After a long hiatus, I have just finished the first draft of my new film script, "Soul Battle 1, Sexts, Texts and Filthy Lies". I started working in the film industry in Wilmington, North Carolina for De Laurentiis Entertainment Group in 1986. Films I have contributed to include Kong Lives where I friended the great creature maker, Carlo Rambaldi and learned how a cat inspired his creation of E.T. I worked under the talented Richard Rothschild on Crimes of the Heart, a Freddie Fields Production, with director Bruce Beresfield. I was mentored by the brilliant and kind Production Manager and Executive Producer Lucio Trentini and picked the brains of North Carolina Film Commissioner/ former Location Scout, Johnny Griffin and so many other special and talented individuals. After raising children for 25 years, I have returned to pursue my love for Story Telling. I am currently in pre production for the feature film 30 Day Promise a Branching Out Films production.
