About Van

Van Billet is a former business person who turned screenwriter. Since 2010, he’s optioned four screenplays, one of which was produced (“Saving Paradise”) in 2021. Van also served as an Executive Producer for the film. For the most part, Van’s scripts are character-driven that attract indie filmmakers. He is currently working on two screenplays, one of which (“Yale”) is based on a true story about his aunt and his grandfather. Recently, "Yale" received a "double recommend" from Stage 32. Originally from Philadelphia, Van currently resides in Naples, Florida. He spends about one week a month in Los Angeles.
