Maurice Howe

Born in Washington DC raised out Maryland for a while before becoming incarcerated as a juvie. Returned around 17 about to be 18 learning my love for poetry to calm me down when my emotions run high. Lost my Mother at 18 due to drug overdose. I was living with my sister on the Southside. My sister put me out not seeing in progress in my life. I then became homeless going house to house floor to couch. I got hit by a car the following year i believe because i was going down the wrong path with no definite purpose. I almost lost my leg but through the grace of GOD i made it. So now being hospitalized i was torn away from all distractions only to think about why im here on earth and thats where my journey begins
