A man breaks up with his girlfriend but only to realize he needs her help in order to kick start his failing career as an artist.

SYNOPSIS:

English expat Adam in his mid 30's has lived in Berlin for the last decade. Working as a barkeeper to pay the rent whilst simultaneously following his passion as a painter. However over the years his consistent abuse of the vices have lead him away from his creative path and lost in the "City of Sin".

Adam has been involved with a young college Amy from Australia. In her early 20's she only wants to be free and experience new things which is the perfect recipe for a disastrous relationship as Adam tries to posses her. Not being able to control her any longer he finally breaks up with her in a drunken rage.

The very next day Adam has the opportunity for his first solo exhibition and is asked to bring paintings by the gallery. Arriving home to pick them up he finds he has lost his apartment keys. Whilst retracing his steps round Berlin, he hears stories that Amy has already moved on with someone else which leads to Adam convincing himself that she must have his keys.

As Adam tracks Amy down his emotions get reignited and he diverts further from his dream as she becomes his goal. Through his desperate actions he wins her affection back though only to realize it's his art is what he needs. With this new found self knowledge he delivers a painting to the curator to get that solo exhibition and kick start his art career.
