About David

I'm David, a composer, musician and recording engineer from Edinburgh.

In the last three years I have composed, recorded and produced music for clients including Honda, The Glenlivet, Sheraton Hotels, Bupa, Digitas LBi, and ShareIn.

In addition, I have composed and produced the score for a short film by director Eric Romero, 'Native Immigration', which has won numerous awards at independent film festivals. I have also received a nomination for best music.

In 2014 I was chosen as one of nine 'up-and-coming Scottish-based composers' to take part in the Edinburgh International Film Festival Composers Lab.

I am very keen to continue working on music for commercial advertising projects but am also eager to add to my short film experience, and to explore opportunities in television and feature film.

You can see many of the projects I've worked on here:

In addition, my Soundcloud page has production music, tracks and pieces in a variety of genres, including soundtrack, classical, electronic and acoustic:

Please get in touch if you have a project and you are looking for a composer!
