About Tyler

Just your friendly neighborhood filmmaker. I've been busy the last decade or so doing independent work directing, writing, acting, producing, editing, etc. Been through shorts, features, documentaries and web series. The more I age, the more I learn, but have always had a fundamental understanding that without story and character the film is a flop. It's been painstaking, but this is my dream, always has been always will be. I don't see it like others see a job or career, those words are cold descriptions to me. I love what I do and how I do it, and love the way the audience reacts and takes away.
I was born in Colorado, yep that's right, just another ranch kid off to the big city. The difference is, since I moved to California I've worked numerous random jobs, traveled to a dozen countries and five continents. I've climbed mountains and volcanoes had dire relationships and a couple good ones, and I enjoy cooking and wearing suits! Gotta stay classy after all.
My favorite film of all time is Jurassic Park (that's right, the original). Not just from an enjoyment standpoint of the content, but rather every element of it; the music, the acting, the cinematography, the transitions, the sounds, the script and even the book. If you want to hear me yammer on about the amazing wonder that is JP, don't say I didn't warn you.
Other films I love are The Mummy, Dark City, Casablanca, Charade, Se7en and Minority Report to name a few. there are many many more that served as an influence to me and still do.
