This is my bio .. so far ..
I am from North Georgia, US, and have been writing stories and songs since I was a kid. From the age of ten, my friends and I began making movies on a Panasonic OmniMovie VHS camcorder .. so heavy .., then we would hook up two VCRs to edit. That went on for years. In my early twenties after the military, I did what thousands of unwitting young hopefuls do, with acting lessons and high school plays under my belt .. I moved to Hollywood. Little did I know, the money I had saved before moving would barely pay my rent. Unfortunately, SAG membership was $2k+ and every agent I spoke with said, "We don't send anyone to an audition without a SAG card.". WHAT!? It was the mid 90's and I couldn't Google it just yet. So, I moved around for a few years before raising a family of my own, thus joining the grind of a 9 to 5 in fiber optic communications and only exercising my love of filmmaking for family vacations and friends. But, my son will be eighteen soon and chasing his own dreams, full of hope and determination. Inspired by his excitement, I began writing again and slowly built my filmmaker arsinal with lights, sound, stabilizers, editing software, camera equipment and a drone license. I also completed my first feature screenplay, life is good. Now, I feel I am ready to find MY people, the filmmakers, the artists, the thespians and the storytellers. So, this is me, a big smile and the desire to work with others like myself, because life is YOUR story .. write it !
