Tracey Draper's passion for music began at the age of six, when she first performed on the stage as a classically trained pianist and ballet dancer. As a DJ, she's not content to merely mix 2 tracks, her sets include effects, sampling, re-edits and self-made remixes live. She is a creative and versatile DJ known for pushing the limit. Tracey's love for music has grown to composition, she writes Dance, Funk, RnB, Jazz, Electronica, Classical and New Age music. Her first electronica track was used in a Vancouver indie film (The Watergame)and she's worked on several films since. She also worked on a full length live Electronic Opera (The Bacchae) for the Push Festival, participated in the Talking Stick Festival as a guest for the Composer's Series and produced a video for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. A creative composer and sound designer for film, TV and theatre. She is passionate about her love for sound, her musical canvases are ... new media, dance, theatre or film. Tracey is currently completing her studies with UBC for the Web Development and Multimedia Program and finishes in fall 2012.
