I write also books Le petit Manuel du Scénariste (The little writer's manual - 2019 ), Le Dernier Siège (The last seat - 2018), Racine Carrée (Racine square -2017), Les Turpitudes du Cercle (The Turpitudes of the circle - 2012), Muhatsu le petit Moine Zen (Muhatsu,The little zen monk - 2016),...
Expert in Wu Dao, a Vietnamese martial art, I created my own school in 1996. A documentary project on the Vietnamese martial arts, “Les Fils du Ciel " (Sons of the Sky), allowed me to combine my two passions : cinema and Asia.
While preparing a short film in 2002, “La main sur le Coeur" (Hand on Heart), my Master of calligraphy gave me my pseudonym Lou Ma Ho (he who spreads the words of Confucius in the Occident).
In 2005, I directed “L’Eveil du Moine" (A Monk’s Awakening), a film which received numerous awards and was selected at film festivals worldwide. In 2006 Nico and in 2008, Cellule Morte (Dead Cell).
My feature film "Koan of Spring" releases in January 2016. I have finished "Le thé au fond de la théière" (The tea at the bottom of the teapot) in 2019.
Now, I prepares the production of the feature film "The Invicible Chevalier" with our own production Maki Films (shooting planned for January 2021).
I continue to write scripts for others directors and companies.
