Christopher- As a fellow Stage 32 member and being here since March of 2015 it is my responsibility to help you find success. These are suggestions only with the goal of helping you find that SUCCESS. This 64 year old screenwriter might have only been at this craft 2 years but I have learned a few things 1) Don't be a BROADCASTER. and say: Help ME!! Look at my REEL!! Fund my FILM!! You will network much farther if you engage with the community and share content you find of interest to your fellow members and share on OTHER social media. No matter what their craft: Actor, Director, Cinematographer etc.. For example link an article in the lounge. Share some tips from an article you read with your fellow Actors. You will be amazed at the responses. 2)Complete your profile page make it 100%. Even down to your (10) Desert Island movies. When "RB" did a survey of film executives last year and asked them: WHY did you select a Stage 32 member for a project? 9 out of 10 times it was a 100% COMPLETE PROFILE PAGE. They not only want to know WHAT you DO but WHAT you LIKE!! 3)This is NOT Facebook, or Twitter or Instagram it is a FOCUSED social media site for 500,000 Film, TV & Stage creatives. So remember it is NOT a NUMBERS game. It is about building relationships that will eventually be FACE-TO-FACE. 4) You have to be PATIENT. You have to take the time to network as much as you hone your skills as an Actor. I hope this was of some help. Remember you are part of a great & growing fellowship now. if you put in the time you will see the money.
