About Caleigh

Caleigh Le Grand is an actor, writer, director, and producer, born and raised in Canada. She grew up playing in the world of theatre and earned her Honours and Specialization in MIT along with her Level II Writer's Certificate from the University of Western Ontario.

After university, she expanded her writing career, adding PR work to her journalism-based portfolio, and traveled the world on weekends, as a flight attendant with Air Canada. She now grounds herself in the worlds of film, television and live theatre, producing and performing live comedy shows as well as her own screenwriting.

Le Grand first made a name for herself as a Canadian scream queen, and went on to flex her comedic chops as a part of Second City's Musical Conservatory and Longform Improvisation programs in Toronto. She's had the fortune of improvising with cherished comedians on stage, like Colin Mochrie, and acting on screen alongside notable actors like James Franco and James Caan. In addition to her continual performance in North American sketch shows (Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival) and improv festivals (New York City Musical Improv Festival, Big City Improv Festival, Detroit Improv Festival), Le Grand is known for her comedic and dramatic acting and writing in film, television, and digital productions - notably her roles in CBC's True Dating Stories, feature film The Heretics and the upcoming digital promotional campaign for this year's Blood in the Snow Film Festival, which she wrote, directed, acted in and produced.

Having hosted countless live shows and red carpet events, Le Grand reincorporated her love for journalistic interviews into her award-winning podcast, We're Totally (Not) OK, which she co-hosts with friend and fellow actor Tanya Bevan.
