About Edward

Hi, I'm Ed Skirtich, I write and act a podcast "Reading Adventures at McCaslin Street Studio." This podcast is to help all people learn to read with true life stories and fictional stories on sports, movies, television, theater, music, and American history. Sound effects of baseball, football, and film create excitement and energy to the podcast. I just finished "Celebrities Visit PCTV 21" which is community television in Pittsburgh, PA and around the globe. A comedian, actress, voice/acting coach, and former high school teacher made guest appearaqnces and acted roles such as Kara Danvers/ Supergirl and Marion Ravenwood from Indiana Jones adventures. In addition I write and acted "The Aviator " Howard Hughes, Rubin "Hurricane" Carter and Apollo Creed plus the Pittsburgh Pirates new manager Derek Shelton. Plus legendary Pittsburgh Pirates l like Manager Danny Murtaugh, Picher Steve Blass, Willi Stargell, and Roberto Clemente. I want. "Celebrities Visit PCTV 21" won a nomination in 2020 for Best Entertainment in Greater Pittsburgh Community Media. Another PCTV 21 TV show "Celebrating Pittsburgh Legacies" won the award for Best TV Talk Show 2018 for Community Media in the Pittsburgh, PA region. In addition, I podcast on Anchor and Spotify "Reading Adventures at McCaslin Street Studio." On this podcast I write and act true stories and fictional stories o sports, music, film, theater, and American history. I'm in the usher volunteer program at the O' Reilly Pittsburgh Public Theater and take writing and acting classes there. I finished with success a playwriting and theater classes at Community College of Allegheny County. this fall in 2018. AT CCAC I wrote, acted, produced, directed, and did set design for my stage play "The 10th Inning ." Great to be on Stage 32 with you. Peace and Creativeness- Ed Skirtich
