SYNOPSIS:

Written as a homage to THE BREAKFAST CLUB, THE NOVEL CON asks the perennial question, ‘Who am I?’ and a diverse group of authors, aged between 25-65 attempt to answer. Set on Halloween, the aspiring authors gather at the final of a publishing competition where all is not what it seems. To save her company, the nefarious publisher tricks the writers into participating in a TV reality show if they want to win the promised $250,000 prize. As the writers decide whether to fight her, fight for their dreams or quit it all, they find that with each other’s help, they discover what they need most: how to be the hero of their own stories.
