Ashley L. Jackson

Jackson was born Ashley Louise Jackson in Logan, Utah, to Susan (Budge), who is a retired health-care manager, and Blain Jackson, who works in the horse and outdoor industry. She has one younger brother, Nathan, and has Norwegian, English, and Irish ancestry.

Her career began in high school at the age of fifteen after signing up to cold read and act in the Jared Hess cult classic, 'Napoleon Dynamite'. Ironically the film was set in her high school, Preston High, and featured her hometown. The movie was produced on a $400K budget and grossed over $400M. She was in college when the movie released and sold 'Vote for Pedro' shirts to supplement her athletic student income. For the next few years, she continued to take parts in plays and musicals at her college, church, and local theatre productions. She is athletic and was a collegiate volleyball standout. Her upbringing instilled her with extensive knowledge of horses and outdoor skills which she enjoys regularly. She is attending 2017 Cannes Film Festival to crack a bottle of Prosecco with her dear friend Sophia Coppola and watch 'The Beguiled' release. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, traveling, and writing songs. With her multi-talents, winning smile, and charming screenplay, Ashley is most definitely a breakout star.
