SYNOPSIS:

1955: Karl Werner runs over a man with his car and abandons the body. Though he gets away with the crime, he is weighted with guilt. In a desperate attempt to redeem himself, he spends decades trying to construct a time machine, in the hopes of preventing the accident from happening.
