About Jon

Acting. Bringing characters to life, particularly in front of the camera, has always been a dream of mine, although I have not yet had the privilege of being on TV or in a movie. Aside from some independent films I shot with my friends and voice acting I provided for a couple of video games, most of my experience has been on stage. Originally from New Jersey, I got my A.A. in Theater and Public Speaking from Brookdale Community College. I have been a part of local drama troupes, community theater shows, and at one point started up a movie production company with a friend, which did not pan out, but from which I gained valuable wisdom. I have had experience in everything from stage acting, voice acting, singing, dancing, public speaking, set design, costume and makeup design, and teaching acting techniques. I took a break from acting in 2011 to focus on other pursuits. Currently my goal is to get back into the craft and make a serious effort to fulfill my dream of becoming a film actor. I plan to make the move to L.A. in the not-to-distant future where I will continue to hone my skills and network within the community.
