About Mihali

I am an award winning composer with a varied musical output that includes music for Film, Concert, Theatre, Installation and Dance.

My recent compositions for Film include the original scores for the Feature Film Documentary ‘Fade to Black’; the TV series ’Lodgers’, winner of the Best Short at the AFRIFF 2016 (Pilot episode); and ‘Monica’, finalist for the Vimeo Audience Award in the 2016 Sundance Channel Short Film.

I am a member of the judging panel for the Marvin Hamlisch Film Scoring Contest for Emerging composers (NY, USA) since 2015, and the Artistic Director of the Paxos Film Score Workshop at the Paxos Festival.

    Film (Documentary) Composer Peter Short, the charismatic CEO of a major Australian company, learns that he has only months to live after he is diagnosed with terminal oesophageal cancer. Not wanting to face a painful death, Peter decides to source the lethal drug Nembutal, giving him the option to end his own life peacefully. With the help of a rogue doctor who supplies the drug to suffering patients, Peter sets out to have voluntary euthanasia legalised in Australia.
