Alex Rodriguez is the President & CEO of Diversity Consulting Group (DCG), and Chairman of 2:30 Switch Entertainment. Launched in 1995 DCG assists companies reach the fast-growing Latino market in the US as well as the Latin American markets.

Alex has written, produced and director close to 100 television ads and radio spots, has consulted on scripts to assure that they are culturally appropriate, and has several projects in various stages of development, including the feature film “Tainted Blood” and a documentary on California’s Salton Sea.

Involved in ethnic marketing since the mid-1980s, Alex has earned a reputation as one of the industry’s top strategic minds. Throughout his career he has counseled many of the nation’s top organizations, including the Imperial Irrigation District, adidas, DirecTV, Antioch University, American Express, Sprint PCS, and many others. His areas of expertise include Hispanic marketing, community affairs, public affairs and public relations. Prior to starting DCG Alex spent over four years at Hispanic Business Magazine as Senior Vice President of the company’s events division.

Alex is currently on the board of directors of independent record label Mack9 Music Group. Alex served four years as Secretary of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, and is a former Treasurer of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers.

Alex attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where he majored in Film Studies, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Antioch University. In 2004 Alex participated in the very successful Minority Enterprise Development program from Dartmouth University’s Tuck School of Business in partnership with the Minority Business Development Administration.

A native of Southern California, Alex resides in Santa Barbara with his wife and son.
