Johnny Papan

Jonathan Nicholas "Johnny" Papan is a Canadian writer, filmmaker, and musician born in Surrey, British Columbia to a Guyanese mother and half-Trinidadian, half-Hungarian father.

Beginning as a guitarist-songwriter in 2005, Johnny found himself performing original music on various Vancouver stages, recording an EP, and having a track receive radio airplay. In 2012, Johnny transitioned into film, studying the history of cinema, screenwriting, directing, producing, and editing over the span of two years. Johnny's core strengths are in comedy and horror, though he has also experimented in dramas and art-films.
