SYNOPSIS:

Featuring a strong cast of female leads, "Prisoner of the Heart" follows the idealistic Jennifer Gregory as she begins life on her own in an world that is more complicted than she expected. Even more complicated are the challenges of her own heart. Having recently won the Miss Maryland Pagent, Jennifer seems confident and off to a positive start in life. But her path is quickly interrupted by her complicated love with a troubled young man. As she tries to make the relationship work, her circumstances and friendships complicate the matter even more. When something unexpected happens to the man she loves, she has to re-evaluate her life and her heart. But the friends she thought she could turn to end up turning on her when she is at her most vunerable. Matters become even more challenging when the complicated lives of all the characters intersect, leaving Jennifer wondering if there is still time to change her life before its too late.
