After my mother forced me to volunteer for my local church's tech crew in 7th grade, I have invested my entire life into pro-level technology. That volunteer opportunity has lead to many fantastic opportunities, has caused me to love this world, no matter how faced paced and long the hours may be, I can't help but love every second of it.
Since grade 7, I have begun working professionally in many sides of the AV industry. Most notably, I am a freelance Camera Operator, Director of Photography and Camera Assist/Focus Puller. I have experience working short films, music videos, for corporate clients such as Mercedes Benz and Seneca College, as well as event videography, for countless live concerts in the GTA. I have been trained on a Steadicam as well.
Additionally, I work as a Lighting Design Lead for Stargate Sound and Light, Bespoke Productions and Snap Hoek. I am efficient in programming massive timecoded and busked shows for the GrandMA2, as well as rigging lighting and lighting design. This live work often makes it's way into my film work, as can be seen through extensive use of color, and timed lighting effects. I should also be noted that I have over 6 years experience audio mixing live events and film, and am very familiar with on-set, live and post audio workflows. I am very familiar with Avid Pro Tools and Pro Tools HD, as well as stereo and 5.1 workflows. I also own the Waves Mercury and Izotope RX6 plug in pack.
I am interested going forward in a variety of areas, most notably, on set work for films, shorts, commercials etc. anywhere within the camera or audio department. My past experiences allow me to fit into any team, and learn extremely quickly. As well, I am interested in branching out into live TV. I am used to dealing with very high stress situations, and have no issue learning multiple positions at once.
