As a former sports and music agent, Troy has been on the inside and witness to greatness and future name talent. During his career, Troy represented athletes from over twenty countries and music acts from country to mainstream rock.

Troy is a history buff and songwriter, too. He is distantly related to author John Grisham.
He is married and has an 10-year old son.
