While house hunting in the country, an interracial couple become trapped in an abandoned farm house after they witness the murder of a kidnapped federal judge and must escape from a violent gang of white supremacist.

SYNOPSIS:

When Alex and Colton Carter leave the city for a weekend getaway, they have no idea their lives will change in just a few hours by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

On their way to a weekend getaway, Colton surprises Alex when they stop at a desolate farm house he found on the internet.

Alex is anxious to get to the weekend spa she was expecting and not interested in house hunting. But Colton is able to coax her out of the car to look at the property. Colton accidentally discovers the back door is unlocked, and convinces Alex to follow him inside to take a quick look around. As a Black woman, Alex is understandably nervous but agrees, and while exploring various rooms, Colton sees the potential charm as he daydreams about their future.

But before they leave, two cars suddenly pull into the driveway. Several men quickly enter the house and Colton and Alex become trapped in the basement. They remain silent, listening to the men above them, anxiously hoping they will leave.

They soon discover these men are part of a white supremacist group headed by Christian, an articulate and charismatic leader. They’ve kidnapped a woman, Federal Judge Libby Rosen and Colton and Alex unfortunately become witness to her murder.

Two of the gang members, Damian and his nephew Jared, take the judge’s body to the basement and Alex and Colton hide in an armoire. They watch in horror as these men begin to dismember the judge. The gruesome sight is too much for Alex and her asthma makes it difficult to breathe. After the gang leave the house, Alex and Colton are free to escape but Alex has an incapacitating asthma attack, and tells Colton to run to their car, get her inhaler and call 911 for help.

As Colton stands in the driveway frantically talking to the police on his phone, Jared unexpectedly returns. Alex sees this and escape into the woods, but when Jared discovers that Colton saw the murder, he kidnaps him and ties him up in the basement. Now, Alex has to try to save Colton.

Alex manages to get Jared's handgun, left in his vehicle.

Damian returns to the house to help Jared kill Colton but Alex uses the gun to overpower and lock them both in the armoire and save Colton. But when two of the other gang members, Billy and Ricky, show up at the house, Alex and Colton must run for their lives into the nearby woods. The chase ultimately finds them having fallen in a deep ravine, where they are trapped again, soon to be murdered by Billy. Can Alex find the will to actually kill someone? Will Alex and Colton escape their imminent death? Will an unlikely person be the one who saves them? Will it ever really be over?
