SYNOPSIS:

GALE BLUE, in her late 20s is a narcissistic and haughty lifestyle blogger. She is living a superficial life, is obsessed with her increasing followers in her social media network and is cheating on her boyfriend, CALEB with her photographer, DAVID. Everything seems perfect until one day an old fashioned TV set arrives right outside her front door. An old VINTAGE WOMAN inside the TV set blackmails Gale to live a 1940’s life by holding Gale’s foster sister, JENNA hostage. Even though Gale hates Jenna the most for being her parent’s favourite, Gale fears for her own freedom and decides to do whatever the Vintage Woman asks her to do. Soon Gale starts to adopt a vintage lifestyle and the Vintage Woman takes advantage of her by destroying her career and by threatening to kill both the sisters. As Gale starts to change everything around her she feels someone's watching her and feels unsafe in her own house. One day while the TV is on Gale hears rumbling sound of a train coming out of the TV and realizes where to look for her sister. She asks for Caleb’s help and starts looking around the neighbourhood that has rail tracks nearby. Moreover Vintage Woman forcefully makes Gale marry Caleb making Gale feel even more helpless and hopeless for ever getting back her freedom again. One day Gale who is listening to the TV closely understands that she has been wrong about where her sister might be held hostage. She finds out that Jenna could be near a railway station. To their surprise Gale discovers a rope in the garbage of a household near the railway station. She breaks in to the house and surreptitiously follows a burned faced woman called BATHILDA, which we later learn is the sister of Vintage Woman. She finally reaches the basement and to Gale's horror she sees Jenna being tied up to a chair. Suddenly Gale is hit on her head and the next thing she knows she is lying beside Caleb in her bedroom and they both feel someone is in their house. They tentatively check the whole house but they see the cameras which were put up by the Vintage Woman are put down by David who is pointing a gun at them. Surprisingly Caleb shoots David and the Policeman he brought. Gale finally learns that Caleb was the one spying on Gale on Vintage Woman’s order. She learns that David and the policeman were here to protect her from Caleb. Defeated by the situation, Gale is being tied up to her sofa by Caleb who has cleverly deceived her. Jenna’s husband JACK who thinks his wife is visiting Gale arrives at Gale’s house but sadly he becomes the victim of the situation and is being held hostage by Caleb. On the other hand Vintage Woman tells Gale that she has till midnight to save Jenna. Gale becomes increasingly frustrated to get out of the house and save her sister once she hated the most. The only question is will she ever know the reason why Vintage Woman is putting her through hell? Will Gale survive the night and finally rescue Jenna?
