Chris Hicks was born and raised near Dayton, Ohio, a city famous for the Wright Brothers, Erma Bombeck, and secretly harboring alien corpses. After graduating high school, Chris attended Capital University where he studied chemistry and played football, losing thirty-one games and breaking his hand three times over his collegiate career. Once his fingers healed up, Chris hung up his football pads and turned to writing humor columns, short fiction, and sketch comedy while raising two daughters and holding down a day job in the chemistry field. Chris has written four original pilots, three feature-length screenplays, and has optioned over a dozen short scripts.
Chris currently resides just outside of Cincinnati with his five dogs, three cats, three step-children, two daughters, and one wife.
