About Mattia

Mattia Ferrante was born on September 14th, 1988, the son of actress and model, Tiziana Badellino, and Guido Ferrante, a wealthy entrepreneur. He spent all of his teenage summers working as a freelance video maker at “Le Vele” disco club. At the age of 19, he decided to follow his passion for the cinema. He moved to Australia, where he attended the Central Institute of Technology of Perth, and received his University degree in Film and Television. During this time he started his first independent film production company. Mattia wrote and directed the successful short film “The Choice” and has been awarded at Gronkfest film as best original idea with his project “Limbo squad 21”. From that moment on, the visibility of his company has grown exponentially, and companies such as betts shoes, the city of Fremantle, Western Australia police, Grandwood estates, entrusted to Mattia`s company the production of their advertisements. He returned to Italy where he continued his work as a producer moving toward bigger budget films. Now is in Los Angeles where is working hard and with big names of the entertainment system

In his free time, Mattia loves to travel around the world with his lovely wife Mara. Yet, in the last years he hasn’t had much free time, thanks to his outstanding skills, he is much demand, and he has moved from one project to the other. He is also a talented writer, and painter but making films will remain his passion.
