About Tess

A recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Tess majored in Screenwriter and minored in Film & Television. Tess loves to write about the ordinary with a twist. If asked to classify what genre she writes, Tess would say she writes horror/scifi.

Before attending SCAD, Tess was enlisted in the Marine Corps as both an aviation ordnance technician and a legal assistant. When looking to transition to civilian life after the Marine Corps, Tess took a position in the middle east as a civilian contractor with Task Force 2010. When asked what Task Force 2010 was, she smiled and remarked half-jokingly, "I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you."

We didn't press further with that line of questioning.

After serving her time for duty and country, Tess realized that she still had the burning creative flame burning inside her. She attended SCAD and graduated with honors.

Currently, she is working on an independent feature, Student Body, which is due to come out in 2020.

Unique traits: In addition to her writing style, Tess is proud of the fact that she qualified as an expert shooter with an M-16 with both iron sites and the precog. Again, we didn't press for further comment.
