After a diamond heist goes sideways, two amateur Russian mobsters track down their missing contraband that is hidden inside the car of an unsuspecting rapper and small time drug dealer.  The question is, who will find the diamonds first?  

SYNOPSIS:

“In The Rough” follows three sets of characters as they all chase after the same thing; 1 million dollars worth of stolen diamonds. The first set of characters, Andre and Niko, are two amateur Russian mobsters who accidentally just lost the 1 million dollars worth of diamonds they just stole. The protagonist, Joe Martinez, is a 20 something aspiring musician who just bought a used car, that unbeknownst to him, has 1 million dollars worth of diamonds hidden inside of it. Detectives Ragnone and Pulokawhitz are the two seasoned detectives that have been assigned to the investigation. As Andre and Nikko get closer to finding their missing goods and the detectives gather evidence and uncover more details, Joe finds himself in the middle of an epic chase between the mafia and the law, leaving everybody wondering: where are the diamonds?
