Anna-Zoë Schmidt

Born in 1982 in Salzgitter/Lower Saxony and graduated from acting school in Berlin in 2005. Her passion for writing and creating stories led her to begin a successful career as a travel journalist. She has lived and worked in many different countries around the globe, including Colombia, Argentina and Indonesia. An excursion into the world of start-ups and the new economy took her to San Francisco, where she helped Airbnb and Eventbrite establish themselves on the German and Berlin markets. Anna-Zoe is familiar with living out of her suitcase and has made Berlin her home base since 2000. She now lives and works there as an author, editor and producer for a wide variety of media, ranging from television to magazines, reporting on social and cultural topics, always with a strong focus on people. Currently working on a tv series based on her own experiences, marks her debut as a screenwriter.
