SYNOPSIS:

Legacy is a thriller about friends, family, love, and honoring those who have passed before us. In L.A. Rick (50) an out of work engineer and his estranged son Eric (27) receive a mysterious package intended for Rick’s recently deceased father; a WWII pilot. The package contains a treasure trove of WWII collectables and the uniform of a Hans Bergmann a WW II SS Colonel. Intrigued by what they find hidden in the jacket leads them on a quest for more information about the mysterious Colonel Bergmann. His life and his untimely death are all critical factors in solving the mystery of the secret Nazi Project "Zechstein". To be successful, Rick and Eric must try to put aside grief and their differences to focus on the challenges ahead such as overcoming their adversaries Roland de Sevigny a thug like Interpol officer with dubious intensions and the savage “masked figure” who’s always one step ahead and let’s nothing get in his way in gaining the “Legacy.” They join up with an expert on WWII collectables, whose family has a dark secret that may not only jeopardize their quest but also may jeopardize the love of her life. An eccentric British historian becomes a wealth of information supplying valuable clues to Bergmann and Project Zechstein. In Frankfurt they meet the Colonel’s granddaughter who brings with her unique clues that only she could know that are pivotal to their success, although her involvement may end up costing her life. Rick and Eric piece together information that will ultimately unlock a 70 year old mystery of a lost Nazi treasure trove. They search for clues from the past leading them on a danger-filled chase through England, Germany and finally to the Czech Republic where they work with Fritz an expert on the mines where Project Zechstein came to fruition. Deep in a mine, mere feet from the lost Nazi treasure trove Rick and Eric learn that not everyone is who they say they are but will do anything keep their dark secrets hidden. Who will claim the “Legacy?”
