SYNOPSIS:
This 7 page script follows Samantha a high school girl happens on an empty police car next to an old abandoned factory. Although there's still a hot cup of coffee in the car the police are nowhere around. Nearby a door leads to the dark interior to the factory, so she looks in and is drawn inside by a flashlight and a camcorder lying on the floor. She steps in … The “evil” in the factory is only heard not seen so it’s not clear if it’s the work of a madman or something else … This script is available for free to right person.
I liked the P.O.V. style it is hard to write at times I think. I did however have to go back a couple of times and pick up the thread. This could either be my comprehension effect or the screenplay being a bit complicated in the beginning not sure. All in all I do think it is a great start for an original full-length to a good spec. for various drama's out there.
Thanks! I wanted to do something in the Horror genre. I've always thought the unseen killer / maniac is more dramatic and scary. This was for a screenwriting class and we were given a list of props, a line of dialogue, a character name and list of occupations and we had in incorporate them into the script. Sort of like the 48 hour film challenge if you're familiar with that.
