I have a lifetime interest in performing. In my youth I was twice accepted to the National Ballet School of Canada, and was in The Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede; first as a dancer then later as a singer and dinner theatre performer. As a young adult, I worked as a performer (singer/dancer) at Calaway Park in Calgary, Alberta and at Rutherford House (historic interpreter/ actor/singer) in Edmonton, Alberta to help pay my way through University (Bachelor of Science Degree). Later marriage, children and managing a small home-based business created a re-assignment of priorities for me. I began re-training in 2013 to return to the entertainment industry. I was the Assistant Choreographer in Morpheus Theatre's production of the operetta Iolanthe (Spring 2017). As a result of an cast member becoming injured, I was asked to join the cast during the staging process and sang the high soprano line, danced and acted in the production. Since then I have been training at the Rogue Actors Studio in Calgary with an emphasis on TV/ Film. Credits include being the Assistant Producer and 1st Assistant Director of the Storyhive production (VOD) of Moya Mama. I also have numerous background appearances in feature films, TV series and commercials. I am presently studying Voice Over techniques for the industry.
