About D.R.
Born March 3rd 1949 and raised in beautiful San Diego, California.
Graduated Kearny High School, class of 1967.
Always inspired to be a writer.
Through the years I wrote down a lot of notes, but waited until late in life to actually fulfill my dream of writing.
In the year 2013 I set aside the television remote control long enough to write a 100 page screenplay for our feature length movie, "Cat's Game".
I ended up producing, directing, filming and editing the movie.
One of the best experiences of my life.
I had an absolute blast making the movie with the help of many fine folks.
I've learned so much about film making and I still have a whole lot yet to learn.
"Cat's Game" is a daring high seas adventure about smuggling and sailing.
Filmed in beautiful San Diego, it's the story of two guys who want to get their feet wet in the drug trade.
They devise a plan to smuggle a load of drugs from some nearby Mexican islands back to San Diego, UNDER their sailboat. Out of sight and out of mind.
They get in WAY over their heads !!
