About Renata

With an eye towards directing, Renata committed to a four year acting program at the renowned Playhouse West School & Repertory Theatre in Los Angeles under the tutelage of veteran actor Jeff Goldblum, believing that in order to get a great performance a director should understand the actors journey.

She has since directed her first feature, 9 short films, an 8 part Film Noir style Web Series, 8 commercials and has been involved with film production for the past 14 years. Renata has worked on a myriad of indie features with such stars as Cuba Gooding Jr., James Franco, Ron Pearlman, and Morgan Fairchild, as well as working for the FOX TV reality show Trading Spouses. She is currently writing an intriguing 3 part dramatic series set in 17th century England titled "THE TORN TRILOGY".

"My goal is to create films that inspire, uplift and evolve our world. To that end, I purchased the screen rights to direct my sophomore feature "Stand The Gaff" that touches on veteran issues and is meant to help plant a seed for healing. My feature directorial debut of teen thriller "What's Eating Todd?" distributed by Indican Pictures is currently available on Amazon.
