Nathan Short is a covetous agri-business farmer who sets his heart to steal his neighbor’s land, an organic farm owned by the Murdock family. His ruthless greed upsets the balance of everyone’s lives and wreaks havoc in his relationship with his son, Tom, whom he abuses. The Murdock children, Sharon and David, befriend Tom and the three children form an uneasy alliance to stop Nathan’s selfish plans to destroy their lives. With the aid of Rembrandt, Sharon’s pet, an intelligent donkey, and armed with a fable about a mystical pearl lodged in Coelacanth -an ancient fish that lives in a nearby cove seduces David who believes to catch it would save the family farm. The children take us on an adventure fraught with deceptive pitfalls. Sharon and David’s quest to save their parents’ farm and Tom from Nathan’s anger and cruelty -and Tom’s search to find the father he has lost- takes them all through an adventure of storm and fire, tempest and delusion. When all their efforts fail and Nathan’s actions bring him and Tom to a near calamitous end, one courageous death-defying act brings transformation and healing into everyone’s lives. ‘Perfect Harvest’ is the story of the redemption of a man, his son and his neighbors.

The synopsis is good, but you have to remember that you've gotta keep your logline short and straight to the point. That way it catches someone's eye and it doesn't drag on long enough to bore the reader. But I like the sense of direction it's going.
