A selfish 19 year old learns commitment and the lesson of loving too much from a trio of neglected foxes.

SYNOPSIS:

Annecke is a 19 year-old college freshman, who tolerates her brother, Mitch, but views her mother’s work as wildlife rehabilitator as basically dirty and boring.

One day she rides with Mom to rescue three mangy foxes from an abusive environment. As summer wanes and autumn leaves begin to fall, Annecke finds her heartstrings tied up with the runt of the litter she’s named Scamper. As snowy winter turns to a rainy spring, the foxes have grown healthy and strong, and it’s time to release them back into the wild. Annecke finds herself unable to part with Scamper.

One rainy night, however, the whole thing is taken out of her hands.
