IT'S DONNA

LOGLINE:

Donna, a cyber forensics expert, gets hired as the Director of Cyber Security at one of the Country's most prestigious firms. Jubilant that she finally conquered and defeated the consecrated barriers that have
influenced so many industries, "that's a man's job", only to find out that her new employer is under the impression that she's a he!

SYNOPSIS:

While everyone is in the throes of a worldwide pandemic, Donna, a cyber security specialist realizes that unlike most, her career path is becoming more prevalent. Major corporations are being cyber attacked, and her background is in demand more than ever.

Nothing could be more positive as she receives a message that one of New York's largest corporations is vying for her to come aboard as their new Director of Cyber Security. Elated that her career dream is finally coming to fruition, Donna feels nothing can stop her now. Or can it?

The night before her phone interview with the CEO and board members, New York is hit by a major thunder and lightning storm. The roof of her house comes crashing in, and Donna, her husband and son, not having any other choice, need to move in with her wacky Italian family. They arrive on the doorstep of the house where she was raised from infancy.

The idea of living with her parents again was something Donna never imagined could possibly happen, but there they were - what other choice did they have, besides Donna must prepare for the interview of her life. Unfortunately, due to the events of the evening before, an exhausted Donna also develops a bad case of laryngitis. The following day, her phone rings, and Donna, like a trooper steps up to the plate, and gives it her best. To her surprise, she hears the CEO state, okay Don, tomorrow, and she replies "No, It's Donna!"

Donna realizes that living with her family may not be the only challenge she's facing since she just got employed by a company that thinks she's a he!!
