Twenty-something San Franciscans struggle with the loss of a roommate after he’s called to the local Federal building for The Appointment, leading one of them to seriously consider how he’ll respond when he receives his summons.

SYNOPSIS:

This is a world where everyone lives in inchoate fear of being summoned to The Appointment, a cross between a dental appointment and a tax audit, but one that you either return home to or don't. Zach tries to deal with the loss of one of his roommates, as all of his roommates must do, and also tries to navigate his life with his girlfriend who may be pregnant. He seems to handle things pretty well until he gets a letter in the mail summoning him to his Appointment.
