About Natalie

I like to think of myself as a multi-passionate story teller. My first love is acting. I grew up watching old movies and going to the theatre, but when I saw my first broadway play, it pulled me out to the edge of seat and I knew I had to do that! Throughout my school years I studied: theatre, fine art, and was always in honors English classes. In high school I discovered a love of design and fell rapidly into prop and scenic design. This continued into and after college. I always wrote stories, but it took a long time before I could accept myself as a writer. I can talk story for hours. All art helps all art. So, I don’t feel scattered, in any way. I’m able to focus on one thing at a time, and I find that acting, drawing, painting, building, designing, writing, researching... it all feeds each other. Practicing each discipline makes me a better story teller.

Right now I am looking for paid work in design. I worked as a company prop designer and builder for a theater company in Arizona. When I moved to LA, I got into sales and management and really left my artistic career by the wayside. The goal is to reclaim that. I’m actively pursuing jobs in either design or production management. Either side would be wonderful. And I am still picking up background acting work here and there.

Also currently on the burner: I am self producing a Star Wars fan-Fiction webseries, called Seize & Deliver. We just launched our first teaser!! I am also one of the leads and have written multiple episodes, on top of slipping into the design role when needed. All I can say is: be careful what you wish for. Little girl Natalie wanted to be a Renaissance Woman and do everything... so here I am. I enjoy producing almost, but not quite, as much as acting!! This whole project continues to be exciting and rewarding in unexpected ways!!!

My hope for the future is that this webseries takes off and that we can pitch it to LucasArts to get full funding and their support. I really want to keep producing, keep acting and keep on writing. Also, I want to make a lot of money for myself and create job opportunities for other artists to make more than minimum in their fields as well. I’m extremely passionate about seeing more women in the SciFi genre, just in general.

I think that wraps it up for me. Let me know if you’d like to talk about a collab!

Unique traits: Not sure what to put here... I’m quite tall for a lady. But nothing cool like a Cyclops. I do well with characters who are slightly off somehow. I’m classically trained and familiar with mask work.
