About Melanie

Hello! I am a writer, actor and director living in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Silver Spring, MD, I graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Acting. Since moving to Los Angeles, I have studied with Ivana Chubbuck, Annie Grindlay, and at The Groundlings School. I recently wrote, produced, directed and acted in my debut short film, CHARLIE, now in festival contention.

Like many of you, I am a storyteller. More and more I want to have a hand in every aspect of the process, from the writing of the screenplay to the editing room floor. My aim is to collaborate with fellow creatives to produce original content to garner industry and general public attention.
