Andrea Millard

Andrea Millard is a writer based in Los Angeles who specializes in character-driven stories and writing for new media (animation, video games). She has been a Top Ten Finalist in Stage 32’s Comedy Writing Competition for a Last Man on Earth spec and a Semifinalist for New Voices in Animation. She launched Austen Knights Entertainment in 2018 that celebrates female-led stories with a parody music video Real For You (d. Lauren Kleeman, Melting Unicorns), short film Just This Once (d. Andrea Millard), Pappy Hour (d. Nell Teare, HollyShorts Premiere, Nominated Best Writer at Queen Palm International Film Festival) featuring television actors Samantha Sloyan and Christopher Amitrano, she was a semifinalist in the Filmmatic Comedy Screenplay Awards and Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards for an Airplane! style comedy feature parodying the indie coming-of-age road movie (co-written by Lauren Kleeman and Andrea Millard).

Her foray into science-fiction writing came with experience in video games. She has been on the localization team for Black Desert: Mobile, My Hero One's Justice 2 (based off the hit anime, My Hero Academia), FirePro Wrestling, and the AAA Elden Ring. She loves big worlds and imaginative concepts.
