I have an accent more like the BBC of the 70s than my own family. I think that says a lot.
I grew up watching TV and it was even a film (Awakenings) that made me want to be a doctor.
In my 30s I began to write stories and read far more avidly. After 8 books (written - not read. A few more than that read), I feel I have come home again, making the switch to write for the big screen. You could find me happiest blubbing at a great film while eating biscuits and cuddling a guinea pig.
Unique traits: Lapsed doctor. Pole dancer.
